Interval Training comprises of various workouts, where one alternates between periods (intervals) of high-intensity exercises and periods (intervals) of low-intensity exercises. The high-intensity periods in Interval Training are typically at or close to anaerobic exercises. Some examples of anaerobic exercises include sprinting and jumping. When it comes to the low-intensity periods, they revolved around activities of much lower intensity. This can range from walking to jogging at a slow pace.
By going through Interval Training, it will get the individual's heart pumping more effectively and efficiently. At the same time, it gets the heart to work much harder. When the heart has the capacity to work harder, one will start to feel and notice the difference when they go about their daily life. They will feel an increased in their energy levels to begin with.
