Before we elaborate further on Black Canary’s training, do note that this training is suitable for both ladies as well as the men. Just because a superhero is a female, it does not mean that their training is only suitable for the ladies. Anyone can try this out and it is definitely not a walk in the park. For the beginners, fret not because this workout can be adjusted and modified to allow you to participate too.
Aside from improving on your fitness, Black Canary’s training will allow you to pick up some combat skills along the way. Hence, do not be alarmed by the jabs and kicks involved. They actually do provide you with a great cardio workout. You can be certain that you will get a total body workout by the end of the workout. How Many Sets Do I Do?
As you can tell, there are a total of 4 exercises to complete in a set. Yes, it may seem intimidating initially, especially when three out of the four exercises are combos. However, regular practice will get you there eventually. For starters, aim to complete a total of 3 sets. If you feel that your fitness level is better, try going for 5 sets. Ultimately, you want to hit 10 sets or more if possible.
Whenever you complete a set, allow yourself to take a break. However, your rest period should not be more than 2 minutes. Eventually, you would want to reduce your break between sets to just 30 seconds. This is a challenge and would definitely take consistency over a period of time to achieve.
